Excerpt From Small Is Beautiful

While in Australia earlier this year, I reread a book from my student days, "Small Is Beautiful" by E F Schumacher. This inspired me! Even though it was written in 1973, what he says is even truer today. I found this excerpt particularly interesting because I thought it explained so many of the world's problems. Perhaps herein lies the answer to building a better world, where we are less focussed on traditional economics and more concentrated on happily using our hands and brains?
