More information
EcoBalls replace washing powder in your washing machine, costing 3p per wash compared to 20p-30p for leading detergents. Eco-Balls not only save on heavy shopping loads – they are reusable for over 1,000 washes and cost only around 3p per wash.
100% hypo-allergenic, residue-free and anti-bacterial, they are a more natural alternative to conventional washing powders and are ideal for sensitive skins.
Their scientifically formulated filling produces ionised oxygen to penetrate powerfully into fibres, lifting away dirt without fading colours or damaging delicate fabrics.
Just place the 3 Eco-Balls amongst your washing and switch your machine on – they soften clothes even in hard water, so no conditioner is necessary, and as they do not contain soap, you can also cut out the rinse cycle to save energy.
Eco-Balls are fragrance free, anti-bacterial and are not tested on animals. Each pack includes 3 balls, refills and a stain remover. If you live in a hard water area, we recommend using our Magno-Balls to soften the water and stop your washing machine furring up. EcoBalls and Magno-Balls are compatible to use together.
Also available is the Eco Stain Remover. A 135ml tube of environmentally friendly stain remover for removing that troublesome stain before washing. No phosphates, not tested on animals and no fragrances.
If you tumble dry your washing, you should also try our Tumbler Balls
Also now available are the refills for your EcoBalls. 6 off 45g bags of easily dispensable EcoBall refills that will last up to 750 washes on a 60 minute wash cycle. Just open the EcoBall and replace the Balls inside.
Here are some testimonials:
Action Against Allergy (extract from editorial) - “At last – we can tell our readers about a safe wash that won't cause allergy problems – the Eco-Balls which require no detergents or chemicals whatsoever, saves water and it works!?;
Ethical Consumer (extract from editorial) - “Watch out Unilever and Proctor & Gamble. A revolutionary alternative to washing detergent in the shape of three balls is now available in the UK and could mean the end of washing as we know it, or certainly an end to detergent pollution. We tested them briefly here and they appear to perform as well as enzyme-free detergent.?;
Karen Hadaway, West Sussex - “Eczema and asthma made handling wet washing a nightmare. Stinging hands and a tight chest caused by chemical residue was not something I looked forward to. But not anymore. Thank you for an amazing product which I thoroughly recommend.?

Eco-Ball Wash Kit
We have had the Ecoballs for over 2 years and they are absolutely fabulous in terms of the quality of the wash and the economical value. The only difficulty I have experienced is when trying to refill them, the screws were quite rusty therefore I could not refill. This may be a point that should be considered in the design as it may be better to have plastic that will not rust to allow them to be used to their maximum with the refill pellets. I think the idea of the replacement sponge rings is great too!!
EcoBalls
I am delighted with my eco balls - the washing seems just as clean as it used to be when I used detergent and the balls are so much cheaper - and of course greener! Excellent website altogether - I shall use it more and tell all my friends about it!
Eco Balls
These are fantastic I also had trouble refilling them so sent them back to the manufacturer and they replaced them no quiblle and very helpful people and advice when I emailed them.
Try them and see.........
I was a bit sceptical about them working but I'm happy to say we use them for 98% of our washing. The stain remover that comes with the balls are brillant. Got ink, chocolate, bolagnese sauce and curry off my daughters' clothes!
Ecoballs
Have had these for about 9 months and have been super pleased with the way they wash. I have recommended them to loads of people. Today however I found the contents of two of the balls everywhere in the washing machine after a wash. Two balls had broken and I could see that the third one was about to break too. I have not even had the opportunity to use the refills yet!
Following my previous review on the breakup of my eco balls, I have just spoken to Ecozone who have been extremely helpful and are sending a replacement set which are now made of a different plastic (more rubberised)as they realise that there have been problems with the original. Good on them. I shall now buy other products by them that I have my eye on which I spotted on this site.
Good start to the year!
