Price Reduced by 50% Attractive wall hanging that adds delight to a child's room, and one that helps keep it tidy too!
Two patterns of hanging room tidies sized approximately 136 cm (53 inch) high x 84 cm (33 inch) wide. One has very colourful Animal designs and nine pockets. The other has a lively dogs and cats Fish 'n Bone pattern and ten pockets. They are 100% cotton and hand painted, and therefore unique. This means that the colours and animals may vary from the illustrations. Machine wash up to 30 degrees C. Weight 300g.
These wall hangings are made by Tribal Textiles in Mfuwe where over 80% of the population are unemployed and this makes the value of work in the area very important.
The 160 employees are provided with a free lunch, access to medical care and health checks and a training programme to improve their skills.
As a result of long term export partnerships the company has been able to build a local primary school for the children of employees as well as other local children. This school offers over 400 children access to education which would otherwise mean a three mile walk every day!
