Natural (and beautiful) basketware handbags made by hand by small family cottage businesses in Cambodia.
The tallest grasses spring from the fertile Mekong River Delta. After selective cutting, the stalks are hand-dyed and woven into the beautiful colour texture combinations that make these products unique.
These handbags are light, comfortable and exotic. They are curved on one side to fit your around your hips when being carried. "Stylish, affordable, natural, unique, lively all of these words describe our new line of tatami style handbags" says the swing ticket on these products.
They are available in two sizes, tall and small, and with colour options, amber and red speckle. The large size is very practical for daytime use and is approximately 25 x 25.5 cm. The small size, suitable for the evening, is approximately 25 x 22 cm.

Basketware Handbags
This is really a beautiful bag, with it's sleek lines, curved to the body! It has lovely detailing (beautifully made and with very useful internal pockets/mobile phone holder). It is also more secure than many 'basket bags', as it has zipped compartments. I liked the the elegant shape of the taller bag, and feel it is very versatile to wear with black, brown or many other colours. It is also the sort of bag I would use day or evening.
I was initially put off from looking at the details of this bag, as I thought the price was too great. The photo is a little dark and doesn't do full justice to the detailing. However the quality of the workmanship is excellent, and I would now say the price is justified. It was for a friend, but it's the sort of present that is hard to give away!

I got a red speckled handbag and an amber handbag and they are both beautiful, they are very colourful and stylish and I bought to give away as a gift and one for myself but I cannot decide which one I like best!! They are not very large inside but their beauty far outweighs this small drawback. Its also great to be able to buy something so nice and be helping somebody else in the process.
