I bought one of these and they are not that great. I cannot see how they work in a new washing machine which only just wets the clothes and uses hardly any water. i.e. no water to pass through the device. Also an internet search shows loads of criticism of this type of device. If they were all they are cracked up to be "Which" magazine would have advised them years ago.
